Prompt: Do you like what you’re reading? Why or why not?
I have been told by many people how good the Divergent trilogy is and that I really need to read it. So for it is not too bad. I asked a couple of people why they liked Divergent so much and they replied with "keep reading, you will like it if you just read a little more" and so I did. I like it, (don't get mad at me Divergent fans) but I also don't like it.
To start off, I like Divergent because the characterization is really good. With all of the great and detailed characterization I learned much more about the characters right away, unlike other stories where it takes a long time to be able to fully understand the characters. I also like how here is a lot of action right away, when I was reading the hunger games it took a really long time for it to get interesting and it did not take a long time for divergent. So, for the half of it I think that I like what I am reading.
No, for the other half I do not like what I am reading so far. I do not like what I am reading because I do not really understand the setting that much. I know from all my years of reading books I learned that the setting is a very important component of a story and it's characterization. I also don't think that they explain the background of the characters well enough and I get a bit confused sometimes. Don't worry I only started reading and my opinions will change, but for now I like and unlike this story. Even though my opinion has some dislikes I still can't wait to keep reading

The Divergent series, is really good. I know the setting might be a little confusing sometimes but you'll understand. I hope you enjoy these series!
