Book: Things Not Seen

Pages Read: (Finished)

Prompt: Discuss what you think the moral is in this story.

As you may already know, I am in battle of the books, the book I just finished for it was Things Not Seen.  This book was really good and I enjoyed it a lot. It was about a boy who just woke up one day and found himself invisible. One of the morals in this story is to not use an electric blanket. The electric blanket is what caused all the problems in this book. First of all, it caused the main character, Bobby, to become invisible. That was the problem in the story, and if the electric blanket caused it all, you should probably not use one!

Another moral is that when you are put into someone else's shoes you could find yourself making great friends! When Bobby came invisible, he met this blind girl, Alicia. They became really good friends. Bobby would have never even talked to her if he never became invisible! She changed his life and he changed hers because it gave someone kind of like her to relate to. In conclusion, I think that another moral could be when you are put into someone else's shoes you could find yourself making great friends!

In all, I think that there could be many morals in this story. Even though most of the events in this story could never happen, they can sure teach a great lesson! I actually learned a lot from this book, I never thought some of the themes could actually apply to peoples lives. Either way, this is a really good book for all to read!
