AOW Reflection Blog

AOW Reflections Blog

During our AOW gallery walk, I heard many interesting articles, that my peers have found. First, a very interesting one was by Devin. His article was about a 93 year old man who was charged for 300,000 accounts of assisted murder! At the time, the man was not too interested in helping the Nazi's at the concentration camp, and today, he feels kind of guilty. I'm not really sure what to think about this. Of course, I feel bad because he is an old man, but he still did really terrible things.
Another very interesting article was from Evie and it was about how a holocaust survivor and how she is teaching kids to not feel hate. Even though the survivor went through a lot during the Holocaust, he still made a point to teach kids that you shouldn't hate. I think this can be really inspiring and important for a kid to know, because at a young age, it is important that you aren't raised to hate things, but raised to know something is wrong.
